This is the best dye that I have used so far to dye my black Asian hair into a light color without using bleach first. I have to recommend that if you have hair longer than to your shoulders; you will need to buy 2 bottles because I only bought 1 and 1 wasn’t enough to color my hair. However, with the hair I was able to saturate with the dye, it became the color that was on the box. This is going to be my regular dye from now on.

This was my go-to color for some years. I should just stay here, because it is the only color I like. Sometimes I do, bored with my color, so try new colors and different brands. About me and my hair. I am a woman of 50 years with a looooong, thick thick thick curly / wavy auburn hair. I had a lot of gray for a few decades, but with all that hair is probably a bit 'of money. Grey is a beautiful white and silver and really did not want to get rid of it, I just wanted my brunette used to have the same vitality. I am very happy to say the brunette is back!

I'll never be able to use more than twice a week Youth. It 's like aElmer on my hair!

I put the Youth, water and air conditioning in a spray bottle, apply to my hair. I then go outside (spring rain permitting) and let air and sun dried. Then I come in drying and processing of the roots of my hair and the section (16-18 sections), turn and attach to encourage the curl. I thought this simple way to keep my hair looking like you're in an expensive perm it last year! All permanent waves (and money) to the pigment color and relaxed and I had onlyvortex on it and leave for a few hours … then wash and purple … it looks like it perm. But he was not happy with the color.

I was looking at many different things to the vitality back and I'm happy not to look all the way until I found this. I'm going to Super Youth and Youth and the liquid next time find some references to this product on another site. The liquid is to dilute the cream, and several people on the other side very happy with the results of twoCreams and thinned with liquid. I will and my air conditioner too. Not recommended for someone else, but it helps to eliminate odor. Plus curly / wavy hair must be well conditioned. Nothing kills the curl / wave faster than washing and drying it.

I could tell the difference in brightness of the hair after the first use. Some of the turns gray blond. I do not care if it stays or gray, the product does exactly what I wanted. If youhave fine hair I would recommend this product. My hair is thicker, with twice weekly for the last three weeks. He could have done without it, but it looks nice! I sit in the sun every day there is some sunshine, and makes a huge difference. For me there is an added bonus. Youth coats the hair and makes it easier to swirl, fewer fly-a-way I can get hair and smaller sections. I leave for 4-6 hours and wash.

As for the smell … justevident. I think the smell and how it works for you depends on your body chemistry reacts to the product. It varies from person to person. With all this hair, my husband does not notice the smell, and on a scale of 1-10 (10're choking to death) is about 10 cents for me. Note my hair looked different / better / thicker. He wanted to know if I was doing was something different to my hair. Like most men who rarely notices, but he loves my hair (he is bald, poor baby)and may well be why I married her! So I want to keep is really nice, until I can. I found a new product for my arsenal.

There are several manufacturers out there, and if this does not work for you, try another.

Fading at forty – that was my hair-dilemma several years ago (okay, eighteen years ago)… Looking to refresh my color to that of my younger days – red-gold when hit by the sun, I began my quest for a great hair coloring product.

Clairol Natural Instincts, from its inception, hit the mark when it came to gentle processing which left my hair feeling like hair and not straw. However, I could never quite find the exact color I was looking for. Many of the reds stocked by the retailers looked almost purple and the lighter reds were just not right for my skin tone. I finally began mixing Natural Instincts Hot Cocoa and Natural Instincts Golden Sienna to achieve a color close to what I sought. It was a chore to have to formulate my own color – particularly when the two colors were rotated from stock periodically. I took to stocking up a year in advance, just to keep my color consistent.

When Golden Mahogany became available several summers ago, I decided to try it. The color was exactly what I had been seeking – it gave my dark brown hair the golden-red glow of my youth and didn’t look artificial or dyed. I’ve been stopped in airports and at malls by women who compliment the sheen of my hair and the color. My hairdresser admitted that Natural Instincts is as good as anything she does – and she is an expert colorist – at a significantly lower cost. She did suggest that I wash my hair with a clear shampoo and dry it just before coloring. She also suggested I leave the color on as long as 20 minutes, if I had no reaction to the chemicals as it would through more shampooings. As a result, Golden Mahogany lasts about four weeks, with daily shampooing that begins no sooner than 24 hours after coloring. I do use shampoo and conditioner formulated for color-processed hair. The color will gradually soften until it is time to color again.

I love the ease with which this product can be applied, and the conditioner included with the box is absolutely wonderful. In fact, I wish Proctor & Gamble would market the conditioner separately so that I can use it more often. This color is difficult to find – impossible in some areas of the country, so it was great to find it on Amazon. I definitely recommend Natural Instincts Hair Color to anyone looking for a great product!
